YEAR 7

  • Girls’ attendance is better than that of boys but their lead has now been reduced to 0.2%
  • 7B are still the best attending boys but the boys of 7-2 are now not far behind having overtaken 7-1 boys
  • The girls from 7-2 are still the best attending girls having a lead of 0.6% over 7-1 girls
  • The best attending Year 7 Form is still 7-B who have a lead of 1.1% over 7-1.
  • 2 out of 4 Year 7 forms have attendance levels above the 96% target
  • The overall attendance for Year 7 is 95.5% which is a 0.1% improvement

YEAR 8

  • Girls’ attendance is still better than boys’ attendance and they have increased their lead to 2%
  • 8-2 are still the best attending boys having a 0.4% lead over the boys of 8-B
  • The girls from 8-3 are still the best attending girls, and have a 2.3% lead over their closest rivals – the girls of 8-1
  • The best attending Year 8 form is 8-B but 8-2 are only 0.3% behind them
  • 2 out of the 4 Year 8 forms are now above the 96% target
  • The overall attendance for Year 8 remains at 94.8% which is a 0.27% improvement

YEAR 9

  • Boys’ attendance is still better than girls’ attendance but the gap has been reduced to only 0.2%
  • The boys of 9B are the best attending boys with the boys from 9-2 now in second place having overtaken the boys of 9-1.
  • The girls from 9-2 are still the top attending girls having pulled away from 9-1 girls by 2.5%
  • The best attending Year 9 form are 9-2 with 9B just behind them by 0.8%
  • No form is above the 96% target at present.
  • The overall attendance for Year 9 is 93.7% which is an improvement of 0.8%

YEAR 10

  • Girls’ attendance continues to better than boys’ attendance but their lead has now been cut to 2.4%
  • The boys of 10-2 are still the best attending boys with the boys of 10-1 trailing behind them by 1.3%
  • The girls from 10-1 are still the best attending girls but the girls of 10-2 are just 0.6% behind them
  • The best attending Year 10 form is still 10-2 with 10-1 trailing by 1%
  • No form has an attendance rate above the 96% target
  • The overall attendance for Year 10 is 94.3% which is an improvement of 0.5%

YEAR 11

  • Boys’ attendance is better than girls with their lead increased to 1.9%
  • The boys of 11-B are the best attending boys, with 11-1 boys close behind
  • The girls from 11-B are the best attending girls, with 11-2 girls hot on their heels
  • The best attending Year 11 form is 11B, with 11-3 coming a close second
  • One form is above the 96% attendance target
  • The overall attendance for Year 11 remains at 94.2%

Can you be the ‘most improved’ attender in your attendance category and earn yourself a great Easter surprise ?

  • The competition is held over the Spring Term and will be based on attendance figures at the end of Thursday 6th April 2017
  • To win you will need to be the pupil who has the most improved attendance (from 16th December 2015 to 6th April 2017) in your attendance group
  • Where more than one pupil has the same percentage of improvement in an attendance group, a raffle draw will be used to determine the winner

Girls – 2 x Year 7 and 1 x Year 9

Boys – 1 x Year 7, 1 x Year 8 and 1 x Year 10
