“We all know that life has been very different for us all this year, with many of our favourite hobbies, clubs, and activities cancelled. Under normal circumstances, the whole of Wales would have been busy preparing for numerous events to celebrate Wales, Welsh culture, and the country's talents.  It's not just Wales that suffered though, events have had to be postponed or cancelled all over the world. This gave Cardiff Metropolitan University an idea, and they needed us all at Brecon High School to get behind it...


The Cardiff Met Virtual Eisteddfod brought the postponed Wales National Eisteddfod and the postponed Tokyo 2020 Olympics together in a week full of fun events and activities series to combine both events. Between Monday 13th July and Friday 17th July, the @CardiffmetSCL Twitter account was a hive of activity with schools from all over the country taking part in the events and competitions set throughout the day, and once again BHS students didn't disappoint!”
