We are aware of concerns in the community about a threatening message to Brecon High School that was allegedly seen on social media. We can confirm that, following social media and other enquiries being conducted, there is no confirmed video found online or being circulated describing any threats to Brecon High School at this time. To provide reassurance, officers from the local Neighbourhood Policing and Prevention Team (NPPT) have been present at the school and conducting visible patrols since the initial report to police. We remain in contact with Brecon High School, and NPPT colleagues will remain visible at the school today. Police enquiries are ongoing.

What a fantastic effort from some of our staff and governors today, to celebrate National Tree week in planting around 200 tree saplings to expand our forest school provision. Planting trees and building our educational future, we're going for gold for the Green Trees Award from the Woodland Trust.   Special thanks to Mrs Gillard for ordering the trees and organising the activity. Also, to the young volunteers who also helped.
