Phoebe Covington and her team finished runners up in Welsh hockey finals play off. 

Ellis Beavan won bronze at the inter-regional judo competition in Kidderminster.

He was kind enough to show me his 3/4th place fight on video this morning against a much taller opponent. After a real tough tussle Ellis turned him onto his back in the grapple after a brilliant inward sweep to get him to the ground thus winning by scoring a one-point Ippon.

Beth Symonds won silver at the same competition adding to her impressive tally of medals across three different sports.

Edward Jones won a team u13 bronze medal at a regional ruby competition on Sunday.
